An epic fantasy saga begins: The Lone Mage.
Falo is no one special. A wheelwright's son in a village at the very edge of the kingdom, days from marrying the girl he has loved his whole life — until the king's men arrive to test the countryside for magic, and Falo learns the truth about what he is.
In a world where magic is fading and the wizards who remain are pale shadows of what once was, Falo is something the world had all but forgotten: a True Mage, born of the original bloodline, the rarest power left alive. It should be a miracle. Instead, it makes him a target.

Joseph Dinsmore
A lifelong lover of fantasy novels, I eventually realized I was carrying a story of my own. For years, these characters and ideas bounced around in my imagination before I finally sat down to put them on paper. The journey to complete this book took over a decade, largely because I had to battle through my own insecurities and the fear of judgment. Ultimately, the need to tell this story won out. I took the leap to publish, and I couldn't be more thrilled to finally invite readers into the worlds I’ve created.
